About
From Mumbai to Cornell to the grid.
I’m an energy systems engineer, an author, a founder, and a former D1 captain. What ties it together for me is building things that still work on the bad days.

The short version.
Fifth grade
A year in Mumbai
I lived in Mumbai in fifth grade. That's where I first saw what access to clean energy could do for people. It's a big reason I do this work.
Cornell
From a 2.79 to the Dean's List
I started Cornell with a 2.79. I finished on the Dean's List. Most of what I know about working under pressure, I learned between those two numbers.
Four years
Center field, then captain
I started in center field all four years at Cornell and was captain for two. I also hold the program record for career strikeouts. As a hitter. Nobody in Cornell history struck out more than I did, and I still started every season.
After Cornell
Pro ball
I played center field for the State College Spikes in the MLB Draft League, then for the New Jersey Jackals in the Frontier League.
Now
Energy
Capacity expansion, battery economics, life cycle assessment. The projects page has the numbers, and the limits on each one.
The long version.
2013
Mumbai, India
Fifth grade at Oberoi International School. This is where engineering first grabbed me.

Energy, up close
In Tanzania I watched a farm turn cow manure into electricity. In Copenhagen I climbed a wind turbine and found out Denmark was getting over 40% of its power from wind. In Iceland I toured a geothermal plant.

UCF Summer Engineering Program
Two summers trying out every kind of engineering. My team won the bridge building competition.
2017 to 2018
Novum, a pedal-powered phone charger
I built a bike charger that turns pedaling into power for your phone. It won the Perlman Price Young Entrepreneurs competition and some startup money, then took first at the Ringling College GBM Shark Tank.

Sun Hydraulics mentorship
Once a month I sat down with a lead engineer to review my charger prototype. I also shadowed their team designing hydraulic manifolds from start to finish.
2019
Cornell Catalyst Academy
A week living on campus at Cornell, doing engineering. Two years later I was back as a student.

Cornell, freshman year
I started Civil and Environmental Engineering with a 2.79 my first semester. I built a study system from scratch and worked my way onto the Dean's List. In 2023 I was named Engineering Peer Mentor of the Year.

InstructureCon
I moderated at InstructureCon 2021, interviewed will.i.am about his STEAM work, and gave the closing remarks.
2021 to 2025
Cornell baseball
Four years starting in center field, two as captain. Also the most strikeouts in Cornell history, as a hitter. I kept showing up anyway.

Cornell graduation
B.S. in Civil Engineering with a minor in Sustainable Energy Systems. I spoke for Cornell Engineering's graduating class. For my capstone I modeled New York's grid under a carbon tax.

May 2025 2025 to 2026
Pro baseball
I played center field for the State College Spikes in the MLB Draft League (July to September 2025), then for the New Jersey Jackals in the Frontier League (summer 2026). I passed the FE exam in between, in November 2025.

The grid
I'm working through the energy transition: the policy, the economics, and what can actually get built. I also run Champions Voice. I'm looking for energy roles and projects, so let's talk.
